The rudder is easily attached to the airvane tower by means of pintles and gudgeons. If the rudder is ordered with the gear, the gudgeons are welded to the tower. If retrofitted, they are bolted to it.
A strap links the windvane tower to the horizontal axle.
Rudder blade is 60 x 30 cm (24″ x 12″) ensuring adequate manoeuverability.
For easy storage, the rudder blade is made of canvas and the unit is collapsible.
